Girls in sparkling dresses can share a cup of tea, a cupcake and a whole lot of fun at Only Believe Parties and Play Center in Woodway.
Owner, Shakeyeria Barnett, wanted to create a place where these princesses can get the chance to celebrate not only their inner and outer beauty, but also the precious time they have being little.
“Sometimes girls want to grow up so fast, and I just want to capture these memories,” she said.
In an effort to create a memorable birthday experience for her own daughter and other princess-obsessed girls, Barnett decided to create her own all-inclusive party place.
“I started with parties, and because I’m a huge advocate for kids having manners I started offering etiquette classes as well,” Barnett said.
These sessions are called Monday Manners and they are currently for girls ages three to nine. The classes cover topics such as how to sit at a table, how to introduce yourself to a friend, and how to politely get your parents’ attention when they speaking to another grown up.
Barnett is even offering a whole etiquette-based camp this summer called Charm School that is open to both boys and girls. The camp is broken down into introductions and proper conversational skills, dining etiquette, and etiquette to use at home.
Only Believe Parties and Play Center also provides a once-a-month princess camp and parent’s nights out every fourth Friday where girls can come and get dressed up, have their makeup done and dance and sing the night away.
And when there’s not an event happening at this enchanted location, this female-owned business is creating last memories with party packages.
“Our classic party package allows up to eight girls to come in and get dressed in the princess dress of their choice, get a wand and a crown, sing karaoke, and make a craft to take home in our maker space room,” Barnett said. “Our elegant package includes makeup and nails, an instant 8x10 photo, and lots of other special surprises for the birthday girl.”
Only Believe Parties and Play Center also partners with Around the World Bakery, Marco’s Pizza, Waco Balloon Company, and Enchanted Kingdom Party & Events to provide parents with all of the resources (and discounts) they need to give their little princess the perfect party.
