1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts (halved)
1/2 lb. bacon (cut each strip into four pieces)
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. hot pepper sauce
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wrap each chestnut half with piece of bacon (wrap tightly) and place rolls seam side down in baking dish. Bake 30 min. or until bacon is crispy. While rolls are baking, mix the mayonnaise, brown sugar and hot pepper sauce in a small mixing bowl until well blended. When bacon is crisp on rolls, drain the bacon fat and pour sauce over rolls. Put rolls back in oven for 10 minutes. Insert toothpicks into rolls and serve.
